Guided SUP Rentals

Know how to paddle?

Guided rentals are suitable for those who have done a SUP lesson with ourselves or another accredited school.

Irish weather and sea conditions can be very unpredictable and the safety of our clients is very important to us. There is actually a lot more to stand up paddleboarding than just simply standing on a paddleboard and paddling.

Safety at sea also requires an in depth knowledge of the area, knowledge of tidal currents, winds and tides and how they affect the different parts of the coastline. This knowledge can take years to acquire. It’s also about having a means of calling for help, a first aid kit and lifesaving training should an unexpected event occur. For this reason, we at Bay SUP prefer to offer Guided Rentals. As well as safety, you can be assured that you will be paddling in the best location given the particular conditions of the day.
